Summary

Dust and bird activity can quickly take a toll on solar panels in Arizona. We were called out to a Peoria home to clean solar panels and prevent birds from nesting under them. The goal was to protect the system’s performance while keeping the property’s roof looking sharp.

The Work

Inspected the entire home and solar setup for damage or buildup
Power washed and sanitized all solar panels using eco-friendly methods
Applied Tanglefoot Bird Gel to key roof edges and vent pipes to discourage birds from landing or nesting
Documented the process with before and after photos for added transparency

The Outcome

The panels are now free of dirt and debris, allowing them to work at their full potential. Our bird deterrent application will help keep the roof clean and reduce future nesting issues. For anyone wanting to get the most out of their solar investment, regular cleaning and preventive care make a big difference.
