Summary

Pigeons had turned the roof and solar panels of this Casa Grande home into a regular stop, leaving behind droppings and nesting debris. The homeowner wanted a lasting fix that would protect the property and keep the panels clean and efficient.

The Work

Power washed and sanitized the entire roof, solar panels, and alcove to remove droppings and nesting material
Installed stainless steel hardware cloth around all solar panels and one open gable to block access
Set up a stainless steel post and tension wire system along all main ridge lines and hips to deter perching
Applied bird gel to edges, caps, and vent pipes as an extra deterrent

The Outcome

The roof and solar panels are now protected from future pigeon activity. The property looks cleaner, and the new barriers help keep birds from nesting or perching in problem areas. This approach helps preserve the roof’s appearance and reduces the need for frequent cleanups.
