Summary

Pigeons nesting under solar panels can make a mess and cause problems for homeowners. We were called out to address an ongoing pigeon issue on a two-story home with a full solar array. The goal was to clean up the area and keep birds from coming back.

The Work

Removed all birds, nests, and debris from beneath the solar panels
Pressure washed and sanitized every affected area, including the panels and the roof below
Installed black PVC-coated, galvanized hardware cloth around the entire solar array to keep pigeons out

The Outcome

The roof and panels are now clean, and the panels are securely screened off from pigeons. The property looks better, and the homeowner has less maintenance to worry about going forward. If you’re seeing birds gather on your roof, we can help keep your panels clear too.
