Summary

Pigeons often take over rooftops and sheltered corners in Arizona, creating mess and risking property damage. This home in Mesa needed a clear approach to keep birds from nesting and returning.

The Work

Cleaned and sanitized all targeted nesting and roosting sites to prep for exclusion
Installed custom-fitted stainless steel hardware cloth to close off pillar tops and roof entry points
Applied bird deterrent gel along edge caps and vulnerable roosting spots
Repaired and replaced netting with new mounting hardware over gables to block off favored areas
Added post and tension wire system along main ridgelines and hips for long-term prevention

The Outcome

The property is now free of accessible nesting or roosting sites, which discourages pigeons from settling. These changes help reduce ongoing bird mess, protect exterior features, and keep the roof and entryways clean. If you're dealing with similar issues, we can walk you through the best exclusion options.
